Georgia, Jasper County, Last Will. 

In the name of God Amen that I John M Calvert now being of Perfect mind and memory do make this my Last Will & Testament. First I Recommend my soul unto almighty God who is the ?owner? of it and it is my will and desire to have my body decently Entered in the Bowels of the Earth to wit in mother clay then it is my will and desire to have all my just debts paid. Then I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Sarah Calvert all of my Estate Both real and personal to do and manage as she may think properly unless she should marry again then she is to have a child's part of all my Estate both real and personal and the balance of my Estate is to be kept together and in the possession of my son James R Calvert until my grandchildren may arrive at the age Twenty one or Marry off then it is my will and desire it to be equally divided among my Grandchildren to wit the children of my son James R Calvert and I give it to them free of any authority given to any person to take it from them unless it should be by marriage Either my Grandsons or Daughters and I appoint my wife Sarah Calvert my executrix on my will to carry it out as my as my last Request Where unto I have set my hand and affixed my seal this 27 Day of June 1842
